This one has me baffled - she is a quality sight! 0 -
didn't early winchesters have that spade shape on the dovetail end? 0 -
I know it's a Winchester .22 rimfire rifle or carbine...
And I suspect it's a bolt action model.
But that's a best guesstimate or conjecture.

Getting old and CRS sucks. I've seen this sight before, and just can't place it. Frustration led to a good 2hrs searching a bazillion images, that only led to more frustration. It's close to Winchester, but the Winchester version is more right angled. I hope someone can find a proper ID. 0 -

Thanks for looking and think I went the same route as you.
Nice smooth lines and a well made machined sight, but I have no memory of seeing one on a rifle...............
Hope someone jumps in that recognizes it.
ps: went blurry-eyed with the Stroebel book ???0 -

Husqvarna Model 640, there's a couple of other models they used it on too. As soon as I saw Husqvarna, that brain cell came out of hibernation. 0 -
???
I will find something else soon to test your brain again0
