Preventing forgetting children in cars
Every summer, especially when temps are near/over 100 degrees, the news carries stories of parents that forget their kid or kids strapped into the child safety seats in the back seat of their car.
The results are often tragic where the child/children die from the boiling temperature in the car.
A SURE PREVENTION measure would be for the parent, upon placing the kid (s) in the car seat(s), to place their cell phone in the child car seat too.
You can bet, they would NEVER forget where their cell phone is when exiting the car!!

It amazes me - really does - that someone could forget the kid in the back... Amazing...
Yeah - put something "important" in the back seat so you won't forget...

To many, their damn cell phone is more important than anything else in the world. :evil:0 -
Yup!
I saw it on the news a few years ago.
"To help remember your kid in the back seat, put something important like your Cell Phone in the back seat!"
A kid just isn't too important I guess.......

I always take great care as to where I park, leaving windows down etc when I have my doggie in the car. I would never leave my dog to roast in the car.
Good God I take better care of a dog than these people do of their own children. Incomprehensible.0 -
I have never, not once forgotten my kids in the car. Then again, I don't have any.
