Life changes again tomorrow ... and this time it's big.
So, what's on my mind ... :?
I'm sitting here wondering how life is going to change after tomorrow, just knowing it's going to feel waaay different.

Of course we knew this day was coming, but tomorrow morning it's here ... Abby starts a new phase of her life. She moves to her dorm at K-State, and we become "empty nesters".

Good luck to her and also, you and your wife.
I admit that I had a breakdown at lunch at an Applebee's after we got our only child, a son, moved into his dorm room.
The emotions of the situation took over and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
I did get it together and was good the rest of the day.
The wife cried from leaving his dorm until about 1.5 hours on the ride home.
It is and was a life changing day for sure.
That was 6 years ago.
It does get better.

I know what you mean. I had a video from six years ago pop up in my timeline on Facebook of my son shooting his little .22 when he was 5, was so cute, now he's turning into such a little man. Wish we could freeze time when they are so little. 0 -

Congrats to you and Mrs. Kimber on raising a fine young lady! I know she will do well in life, but as well, I know it's hard to let go. Our daughter is 23, and her and a friend recently moved to a town almost 3 hours away. Just last week, she drove by herself two states away to visit her aunt and uncle. She made it there and back. Abby will do great as she gets some wind under those wings!! 0 -

It is the right order of things, and you should be justly proud. She could be staying and adding a baby to the family, along with her unemployed boy friend. As it is she is venture out into the world, furthering her education, a young woman who has made good choices and shown sound judgement. Adolescents are mostly known for making poor choices. Be proud indeed! 0 -
