gotta vent, auction
I listed a springfield 03-a3 barrel on the auction side at, what I thought' was, a very good price...........so far I've had 4 low ball offers to by it out side of gunbroker

I assume you researched the closed auctions for comparables before you listed? If not you may be overpriced. I would think that this would be a collector market so it might take a while to find the right looker. Otherwise if you have to move it, you might have to drop the price a bit. As to the lowballers, I am sure they were just trying to do you a favor, not thinking of themselves at all. In fact you are lucky they even looked at your auction, they are usually at every show and shop by the 100s. Good Luck! 0 -
You can always submit them to support for trying to circumvent GB auctions. I don't feel to bad adding a box of ammo or something to an order, but to try to completely get around the auction side and fees just isn't right. My adhering to that principal cost me a rifle years ago that I have looked for ever since, but I still think it is right. I don't think GB is likely hurting for money, but since I get ~95% of my firearms here, I want to make sure they stay around. 0 -
