Man! If it got that hot here I'd just lay down and die. You could probably just hose me into a storm drain.
We're looking for a high of 78 here today. Still too hot for my taste, but I'll take it over your 109!

Back in August 2011 I got off a plane in Tucson AZ from northern Michigan. Going outside the airport it was 116 degrees in the shade!

It was my first and last visit to that place, Living in an oven is not my idea of living.

same here on the gulf coast. i can generally stay out till about 1200 but then im done for the day. it generally doesnt cool off much till long after the sun has gone down. but by living here, this is what i signed up for.

At 4:00 PM it was 99 degrees here in Hampton, GA with a heat index of 106. This year has been cool compared to the past few years.
