I used to laugh at those old film clips but looking back now a lot of the stuff they were saying has some truth to it. Society didn't go to hell after the 1890s (gay 90s) nor did it after the roaring 20s but it sure did after the 60s. 0 -

at my moms funeral a old friend and one time a neighbor family of ours
told me she remembered coming to our house just to watch Ed Sullivan to see the Beatles we had one of the only TV's she knew about at that time . she was about 4 or 5 years older than I ( I was 7 in 1964 ) I am sure mom and dad had bought a use one . no way a new one at that time
I know my dad did not like them ( any rock and roll or pop music ) he had no use for anything but the old country music other than blue grass
