Also reported this dude had body armor but of course they could mistake a mag carrier for armor. Get ready to fight ladies and gentleman. I guarantee it?s gonna get ugly at the State level and could even Federally as Trump has already shown he?s no friend of the 2nd Amendment.

Texas and Ohio are both "Shall Issue" states to the best of my knowledge, so people in both states can carry concealed.
Texas happened in a WalMart that again to the best of my knowledge did not have a restriction against concealed carry on their premises.
Ohio happened outside a bar where most likely there was a prohibition to carry.
The could be many reasons why no one engaged the shooter in El Paso. I would say most likely the majority of shoppers did not have a CHL as many times I have been in El Paso, there is a great number of Mexico citizens shopping in town due to better selection of merchandise.
There may have been someone with a CHL, but in the chaos one has to quickly weigh the risks of pulling your own weapon and running through the store looking for a shooter.

You have no idea if it is a lone shooter or a team
Is the person you just encountered with a pistol the shooter or another concerned citizen like you?
Will the off duty LEO shopping in the store understand that you are trying to end the carnage or consider you a threat?
I wish I had the magic answer to stop these terrible acts of violence but I am a firm believer in the simple fact that you cannot prevent evil acts.0 -

We can speak up and march and fight back (legally) but we have already been hamstrung by the judicial system that states restrictions of ownership is not an assault of the 2A.
Could the 2A be repealed? Until recently I would have said no. Not any longer.
However it is a long and complex process and when you open the door to a Constitutional Convention, more than just the 2A is up for grabs.
Just with the people I work with, the number of people owning firearms or even caring about firearms has dwindled drastically. The younger generation wants nothing to do with firearms (except in video games) and could care less if they are gone.
I will say that if it is not repealed now, that within 50 years it will be as we will all be gone and the majority of American citizens will not care about gun ownership or understand why it was so important.0 -
People here are finally realizing that Firearms are going to be banned,First assault black rifles however a person with a Pistol even with only ten rounds could cause the same outcome so they will be banned too!Oh wait a bolt action rifle positioned on a tower could be used effectively too! So they must be banned and of course, a shotgun in the winter could be used with a long coat so they should be banned too!
So all Firearms will be banned because of crazy unhinged people and you can't find them all in society. A regulated Militia will not be tolerated either because after the civil war we have a Federal National Guard instead, Anybody who tells you differently is misleading you to get your firearms believe it or not! It's either drawn the line or give them up! Really simple to surmise the situation. You will have no other choices in the end of this matter.

That may be true, but it has been proven before, that it only takes a core 3%, in order to make a difference. Where you live, where you have chosen to live, will make a big difference.
Quite a few more "Prior Service trained individuals," probably more than ever, before, with Combat experience now than back then, as well. That 3% will be much more effective. I would venture to say, better armed as well.
Former Army, Marines, Air Force, & Navy Vets are not going to just hand them in, and roll over.

With 5G cell towers with total awareness and Miltary Drones canvasing hot spots in a 30 mile circled area then you're going to need more 3% to overcome any resistance from gun-grabbers government agents. Bet on it.

you are assuming that the military will fall in line with the feds and take action against citizens.
While it has happened in the past (post WW I) in DC, I would like to think that the vast majority of my brothers and sisters in arms would realize that would be an unlawful order and in direct contradiction of their oath. Yes, some would do it willingly...but I do not think it would be the majority.
Nor do I think this POTUS or many Governors (for Natl Guard) would want to be the one to order troops to forcefully disarm American citizens. They would be blamed (and rightly so) for the mayhem that resulted.0 -

Ah yes Serf, cell towers and drones. If they are so great are they being used much on southern border? If so great why not more down there. We know what they teach in Army War College and we also know that many Active Duty and NG will stand down. How do I know? Have no intention of expounding on that on a public forum. Am I mistaken, but aren't there laws to protect US Citizens from drones on US Territory? 0 -

Laws are suspended in time of crisis,did not the military imprison US citizens with Japanese ancestry in WWII? Your credentials prove nothing in this matter. The government will do whatever is necessary to stay in power under the color of the law. They suspend habeas corpus under martial law if I remember right!
The second amendment can disappear just as fast as Marriage did between a man and a woman with a ruling from The Supreme court,
