Not this year, was there for there for the 75th and way too many bikes that year for me. I want to go out the end of the week before and a day or two the week of the rally when I go out again.

No, but I did invite a hundred or so ANTIFA guys to go and make a march.

Had a nice time again this year.

Saw some crazy, some weird, some ugly and some awesome motorcycles.

Vendor participation was lower, most campgrounds had sites available and some motels w/vacancies.

Had a super time riding thru the Black Hills ..... nice change from riding on the flat prairie and straight roads.

I wasn't crowded this year. Most likely a smaller number of visitors as many will wait until next near for the 80th Rally.

    :D

I think next year will be a big one. I live in SD but can only stand to go to the Rally about every 5 years. Might go next year since we have relatives that live there and can stay at their place.

The Black Hills is better riding in June and September than in August with the crowds.

Sorta, went through in the truck twice while it was happening. Came back through with 45,000#s of beer in the trailer and was hoping nobody would sniff it out. Traffic wasn?t that bad this year but yesterday a rolled over camper created what must be a new South Dakota state record for traffic backups, right lane closed on the east bound side of 90 east of Rapid City, backup was over 5 miles long, that doesn?t happen in SD!

Anymore, many of the people who attend Sturgis sound like this while preparing...

"Got my "Hog" all loaded up inside the trailer, and tied down with my aircraft titanium cinch straps. Got the oil changed in the Escalade, and the GPS all programmed."

"We'll be heading out as soon as the "Ol' Lady" gets back from the temporary tattoo shop. In the mean time I guess I should go cut the price tags off my new "Harley Davidson" leathers. I wonder if anyone will notice the Gorilla tape holding my patches, errrmm, "Colors", on? "

"Oh crap, and I almost forgot...I need to run down to the hair salon to get my ponytail weave done! And, where the hell is that spray-on tan stuff???"
    Yep!!
