Ate a rotisserie chicken like Koothrappali
over the sink like an animal. It was kind a fun. Trash can near by to toss the bones. Sink right there so clean up was easy. Also did the bird get smaller? I remembered them being little bigger. It was not much bigger than a game hen.

We use the "as seen on TV" set it & forget it rotisserie at home. It works great for chicken & beef roasts. 0 -

buschmaster - I never tried the Walmart rotisserie. I usually go in through the garden center to go to the DVD area. The eats are way on the other side and it's a long walk and I know I'd spend way too much if I took a walk. I like the square tubs of ice cream (Country Something) but they don't have many flavors. Also I tend to go in there way before the chicken comes out of the oven.

Most everybody that lived in the East Tennessee area from the 20s through the 70s remembers Cas Walker's Super Markets. He sold the best BBQ chickens on a rotisserie that I've ever eaten.
Cas also served as Mayor of Knoxville for a short period of time before they kicked him out. He was also on the city council. Here he is, the one on the left, doing some of his best work as a councilman. He worked in the coal mines in KY when he was a youngster and knew how to throw a punch. He was a tough old bird.0 -
Had to run some errands and ended up at Walmart after 09:30-ish? I remember buschmaster mentioning their chicken. So I went looking. Strangely they had them out. Looked at their hand written "time stamp of freshness" and it indicated 09:20 and being $5.00 I got "traditional". It was about the size and flavor/quality of the one I had earlier in the week less $2.00.
I think I'll have to try COSTCO next. I'll drag a card holding member for that.0 -

Did not see the Garlic one. Bunch of lemon. I would like the skin to be crisper. But again for $5.00 it ain't bad. 0 -
My Brother in Law used to stop at Sams Club after work once a month or so.
He would buy the rotisserie 2 pack of chickens, and eat one while shopping, throw the bones in the container, snap it shut, buy a package of paper towel and tear open the package and rip off a sheets to wipe his hands!
When he would check out, they always tried to give him a new 2 pack of chickens and a new package of paper towel!!0 -
A few short years ago, our local Sam's Club would have those sampler ladies cooking up just about everything edible in the store. They were set up around every corner and when I shopped, I came hungry!!
It was like going to a buffet on the run pushing a shopping cart! I would actually buy stuff that tasted good but unfortunately for some reason the store discontinued this practice. Now going there is just like shopping everywhere else. The new Cosco that just opened up last year is really putting the sting on Sam's here. I have not yet checked them out. Another place I have to pay to shop is not really on my budget list. Sam's may end up shutting down. If so, I may give them a try.
Regarding those rotisserie chickens, I have tried several from different places. Most of the ones I bought were not done!! Nothing worse IMO is bloody chicken!!0
