earlier this year toyota rolled out pics and info on their new subcompact pickup the yaris adventure...neat little 103 hp, auto trans, awd, 2 seat with storage space.....cute as a bug, see the pic at www. Motor1.com.......the date of announcement was ...drat.. april 1.... if for real i would have been in the door with a checkbook......?????

looked at a like new Brat many years ago...to lite bullt for farm use...been a gofer and runabout....the honda and subaru el camino type models mainly for suburban use..clearance not enuff for country stuff.......newer crosstek be OK...subaru, honda rated high...wife bought a new suzuki crossover AWD in 09....and dealer had a new one jacked up ..she said NO, and bought regular issue awd.....low but with 96K miles on it has been a super runabout for us farm to town and around..though retired i have kept my 4wd caseihc tractor with 12' dozer blade and have opened roads for neighbos and to town when we have had a snow blast.....been dry open winters last 4 so it has got no real winter use 0 -

remember the Opel GT....mini corvette...long ago i looked at one in wichita clean straight and cheap.....i have a 96 geo tracker autotrans, 4wd with mag rims bigger tires, air/heat, new top and in good shape with about 96K miles and a 2000 toyo Rav4 auto, awd, air/heat/ almost new tires, nice shape with only 146K miles....just to play with ...plan on selling both some day and kawasaki paririe 360 2wd 4 wheeler with 115 on the meter, and a Max 2 2 seat 6wheel amphib with 20 hours use...then i can get some new toys .and some space in the shop...young farmer here i know just got a 4wd polaris ranger 1000 auto trans hard cab with heat and air and roll down windows tilt bed ...as nice inside as a new pickup ????? just a little to pricey for me... way back i had a mazda reg cab 4wd pickup that was a winner .....like the small pickups but they have vanished or keep getting steroids 0 -

It was not quite as nice as that one though. Did have a small camper shell that went on it. (Removed easily.) Usually ran it sans camper shell.
It was awesome for hauling a motorcycle. Right in between the two rear seats in the bed, a motorcylcle tire would sit just right. Snug it down, two straps in the rear, good to go. Bed was just long enough. Rear tire would be on the down tailgate.
Loved that thing. Had Pirelli M44's on it. It would go anywhere.
Wish they still made them.0
