Trailer Title Question - Indiana Guys
I bought a Parkhurst antique utility trailer from a farm sale in June. It was made around 1970 and all I have is a Bill of Sale. How can I get a title and then plate this? It's not an assembly so that won't work. It's a manufactured trailer with a serial number but has probably changed hands many times in the last 50 years.

maybe not much help but in Ohio if you have a home made trailer you can get a weight slip and licenses it 0 -
Was the "farm sale" an auction ? If so a certified bill of sale should be more than enough to title/tag it....it seems all 50 states have their own laws regarding trailers and tags and every one of them is different  0 -
You'll need Indiana form 205. Application for Certificate of Title. Go to the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles web site and download the form. 0 -

True... but getting stopped out of state numerous times with my 24' aluminum enclosed ... I decided to go with the 75 dollar permanent tag. No personal property taxes on it either every yr.0 -
Each state is different you will have to go to your DMV or the State Patrol and ask or look it up on their website. 0 -
It's been years ago but I've done this here in Indiana a few times. It requires filling out the paper work, getting a numbers inspection and paying the fees. I went to the local BMV and got the information and forms, but like was posted you can probably get the forms online now. 0
