    "Once someone decides life is no longer worth living and that murdering others would be a proper revenge, only means and opportunity stand in the way of another mass shooting."

    And then they go on to remind us that the constitution needs to be shredded.

    My heart aches for the victims in these shootings but I think there are times when you just can't stop evil. My wife had a stroke and damaged her knees two years ago and I can't leave for my 2nd home in Central Va.

    I am a deer hunter, collector and competitive rifle shooter and King Cuomo has ruined my life. We have done nothing wrong to deserve the abuse of power bestowed upon us of late.

    When will our Reps in Congress realize that if they take away the means(firearms) they will be replaced by something else like my 1500 Silverado or a rented truck. So much concern about magazines over ten rounds. What will the body count be with a rented truck or even five gal of gasoline?

    So,So Sad. Wake the Hell up Congress!

    We cannot cure stupid. But we can, and should, clamp down hard on the media, Hollywood, and game makers who continue to market violence as entertainment for their profit. What hypocrisy: They rant against guns, yet they continue to market their products with their supposed heroes blasting people with full-auto all over the place.

    Shame how blaming guns and thinking anti gun law is a solution. When problem is people with issues.

    Interesting how this Ohio criminal who in high school had a death list and at one point frigtend classmates enough that 1/3 skipped school to avoid his threatening demeanor.

    Current laws should have prevented him from purchasing his gun. Once again anti gun laws that exist, failed due to admin failure by gov. Were it not for the courage and rapid response of Ohio police this criminaly insane fool would have killed many more.

    Clearly knee jerk reactions to situations fail to identify problems and solutions. Evidently mass shooters are the problem and need be acted upon befor they act up... Pro action to the nut jobs is the solution.

    When will the people realize that the government doesn't give two chits about the well being of the people? It's all about control of the masses without fear of being overthrown from power. It's a common theme that has played out since the beginning of civilized society. It isn't about safety or saving lives it's about control, nothing more nothing less.

    So true your words. I watched a man almost begging to overturn the NY Safe(unsafe)Act of 2013. Three Appelate Court judges looked down their noses and we know the result. Yes, they were appointed by King Cuomo.

    IMHO, drastic measures need to be taken against these nut job shooters. There should be no survivors when it comes to the perps that give themselves up. They should be dealt with on the spot with no recourse for any further dealings. No rights to a fair trial, as the victims rights have been totally taken away by the perps. No excuses, just a round to the head and done when caught in the act. No waiting around for the gas chamber or lethal injection. NO mercy just pop and done on the spot of the crime scene.

    This is the only way to quell future mass shootings. It will not stop them all but it will reduce them a great deal. There will always be crazy people intent upon killing themselves. Some would like to take people with them. There will never be a solution to this type of act. Only armed citizens at the scene willing to take justice into their hands before more innocent people are killed.

    It's easy blaming faceless inanimate objects like guns. Who they got NRA? The "suits" are too busy taking great African safaris on your dime.

    Since crazy people got faces and they can get lawyers it's harder to prosecute nutters without looking evil locking them up for their own good before they "harm" someone. Like those dog biting folks laws. You think after privatizing prisons they'd diversify by opening house for nutters. Hell big pharmas could try testing meds on them. Scoop up all those druggies off the street and give them all the "meds" they can do.

    Lets see now.. The biggest mass killing so far was WTC/911 in New York... Weapon was an airplane.. l have heard ''not one'' voice wanting to ban Airlines... Oklahoma City Bomber used fertilizer and a white Ford van to do his dirty work.. Last l checked I'm still seeing white vans.. Lowes has lots of 5 10 10 for your lawn and garden in stock.. Britain took away all the Brit's guns maybe 30 years ago.. Guess London murder rate is worse than Chitcago's... The Queen's subjects have turned to the BLADE as their murder weapon of choice... l suspect most restaurants still put a knife and fork at each customers' plate.. Bottom line is... lf a man wants to kill someone he's gonna find a WAY :shock:

    When I was kid, I'd played with toy guns (too much some thought). When I got older, I was recruited to use real guns for a real purpose and was good at that purpose. I also learned that using guns entails RESPONSIBILITY which too many of the current population simply does not understand.
    The point is: it's not the tool used, it's the user of the tool. Don't rationalize irrational actions. Deal with mentally disturbed people in a way that prevents their actions from injuring others. Fifty years ago, my own Grandfather had to be "institutionalized" due to his dangerous actions and threats of violence. He died in that institution BUT he was prevented from harming anyone else.
    Stop passing out questionable medications which may or may not stop the mental deviates--lock those people away. For those who CHOSE to be deviant, apply corrective re-enforcement at a level that actually works.
