As a young lad a farmers Irish Wolfhound would hang out with us kids when he could escape, one day a German Shepard came bounding towards us as we walked down the street growling and barking. The wolf hound put the Shepard's whole head in his mouth and shook him violently. That ole German Shepard never bothered us again :)

On a side note - we love our ?pup? and would be terribly sad if he ran off. On FB we see a lot of ?found dog? and ?lost dog? posts with old pictures...

I bought an embroidered collar for my boy. That way anyone finding him would know exactly who to call. At under $20 it?s cheap insurance.

Yes, he?s chipped. But how many people are going to load a ?found? dog into their car and drive to a local vet office...

Two of my grandkids were scared of dogs when they were young. One day they and a friend were playing outside when a ?German Police? dog appeared. They screamed and ran in the back door but forgot to close it. When their mom went to the kitchen to see what was up, the dog was sitting in front of the refrigerator wagging his tail and drooling.

I've never met a Chihooahooa I couldn't pet. Cocker spaniels, on the other hand, have been the most unpredictable breed I've encountered. A hundred pound cocker would be a dog I'd fear.

    I agree Sir.

    My dog is chipped.

I rely on his brass engraved plaque on his collar. I'm Ken K. My phone number is 423-727-****. There is a Reward for my return. (That is what will get him home.)
