    Youtube got videos of folks getting denied. After Gilroy I reckon it'll be worse. I figure the system will pretend to be not working to show a huge drop in ammo sale to prove it's "working". The governor looks like a slime ball that will play with the figures to lie to the gullible. I don't know how he'll explain why crime rate isn't falling. I suppose he'll blame Nevada for not IDing buyers.

    My brother lives in CT. He visited a while ago. We were going to plink in the back yard. When I mentioned heading to Walmart to buy ammo he was shocked that we could walk in and buy whatever ammo we wanted, without any background check or government permission.

    It?s shocking what some states do...

    I wonder if the law only applies to commercial sales? What if you sell a gun & have a good supply of ammo for it, can you sell that ammo?

    Speaking strictly about California - no such thing as private sale. All sales - commercial or ?private? go thru an FFL.

    And I think I read somewhere that private ammo sales / transfers were disallowed.

    So - California gun owners are pretty much fooked.

    I can't even "gift" ammo to my son with out going through an FFL. I can't mail order ammo anymore unless I have a C&R license and C.O.E. If you send me a box of ammo, I can be prosecuted for receiving it.
    I think the GB members NOT living in Calif, should send a box of ammo to all the Calif democrap legislators. :twisted:

    If I recall in NYC you cannot purchase or possess a single round of ammo for a gun you do not legally own - and the gun must be registered annually - and it's very difficult to be judged allowed or authorized to by a gun in the first place let alone obtain a CCW Permit (unless you are rich and famous and connected politically)

    If I recall in Hawaii you are limited to the number of rounds of ammo you can possess - like one box in some cases - and they require you to turn in the empty brass before allowing you to buy more in an attempt to limit any black market or reloaders skirting the laws...

    You cannot comprehend the level of stupid legislation we have in NJ on guns and ammo and fireworks and knives - how many companies will no longer ship anything here - there are no antiques guns or curios and relics and even a BB gun or pellet gun is considered a modern firearm..

    No black powder guns - they too are modern firearms (I bought a reproduction Japanese matchlock pistol and had to have a firearms id card and a separate pistol permit and a nics check to by a gdamned matchlock pistol)

    DEMOCRATS now comprise over 75% of state government. Such laws should come as no surprise at all. In fact, one can expect more of the most restrictive of gun laws with every legislative session.

    It's all about payback and screwing law abiding firearm owners for not voting for demonrat SOB's
