New suppressor- II
Next in line is a AAC Ti-Rant 9M. This can is neat in that the suppressor body is split 70-30: you can run it long (8 inches) or short (5-3/4 inches) by unscrewing the forward portion and the reattaching the front cap. It uses direct threads and not a QD system (although it is supposed to be adaptable to 3-lug).

This is a baffle-type suppressor and the baffles are...well, baffling! Reassembling the can correctly required close study of the instruction manual, but I'll get the hang of it...eventually.
It is too late to go the range today, and since I prefer not to do anything on weekends, I'll try it out on Monday.

Looks like you're getting some fun toys with your new license! Cans make shooting so much more enjoyable. If you can get your hands on a db meter, it'd be nice to hear (sorry for the pun) how this performs in it's varied configurations. 0
