Screw Help
Hello
Going through a retired gunsmith shop and came across a few of these hollow-headed screws.
Seen them before, but just can't put my finger on them.
Anyone recognize them?
take care and thanks

can't tell how long they are, but look like set screws for easy off scope bases on rimfire dovetail...... 0 -

Thumb screws from QD swivels. 0 -
Very reminiscent of the external scope tube spring set screws on my unertl 20 1/2X mounting and adjustment hardware...
Also quite similar to the set screws found on several of my sniper scope mount systems especially the British SMLE "t" type and the M1 Garand "D" variant...

Just a guesstimate - apropos of a gunsmiths hardware possibles parts hoard.
Please let us know if a definitive solution is arrived upon - inquiring minds...

So something for scale like a quarter or a tape measure would help. What does the hollow head look like - is it threaded? Screw size 6-48? 0 -
They also remind me of a bolt handle on a semi-auto .22lr my dad had when I was a kid. It seems like it might have been a Springfield. It was a relatively cheap one and could shoot shorts, longs, long rifle.
Like mentioned above, a reference for scale might help a lot too.0 -
Thanks for all the replies ?
Looks to be a tad over an inch
Not threaded inside
take care
