No More Blood Pressure Medicine
When I first started taking blood pressure medicine in 1995 my pressure was 200/130 at the doctors office that day when it was discovered. For the past 2 1/2 years it's been dropping and running to low down to about 110/68 to 100/60 at times since I had blood clot surgery in my large intestine.
I quit taking the last of my blood pressure medicine a few months ago as my doctor directed. He's been lowing the kind and dosage over the past 2 years when my blood pressure started running really low. After I quit taking all of the meds my pressure has moved back to a normal level now. Today at the doctor's office it was 124/70 where it's been running there about for the past few weeks now.
After my blood clot surgery in my large intestine in 2016 my blood pressure started to steadily fall. I was originally taking 90 mg of Procardia XL, 40 mg of Accupril, 10 mg Bisoprolol Fumarate and 10 mg Indapamide. Then the doctor started cutting the amount down on each of them until I was only taking 10 mg of Bisoprolol and now down to zero.
I've asked my heart doctor and the surgeon that did the operation removing the section of intestine with the blood clot and my family doctor why my blood pressure has dropped? None of them have given me an answer??
I am 35 pounds lighter than I was at the time of surgery but that's not the answer because I weigh more now than I did when I first started taking blood pressure medicine. So I don't know the reason why I don't need the meds any longer but it sure is nice to not have to screw with taking the medicine that causes me to sweat like a pig and wander around in a light headed daze most of the time.
There's one other good thing about not taking blood pressure medicine. I won't go into details but trust me it's a good thing.
