    Sheriff Joe is a putz.

As noted in the article, he was convicted of Criminal Contempt of Court. This is usually a misdemeanor, but can be a felony. If the records show that he was convicted of Felony Criminal Contempt of Court, and the articles were published prior to his pardon by President Trump, the conviction statements were true.

Apparently he was pardoned prior to being sentenced, but he is picking at straws. In the eyes of the law, his pardon removes the conviction. In the eyes of common sense, the conviction did happen.

The suit should be thrown out, IMO.

He was also pardoned before his appeal to which he would have won. And that first judge should be jailed.
