Ellett Brothers Stops taking orders

Looks like Ellett Bro (United Sporting Companies) has stopped taking or processing orders as of 12 Noon ET today.

The Court has ordered a inventory to make sure these is $15 Million worth in inventory on the books. That is minimum the court is using to offset debts.

If there is more than $ 15 M then the liquidation sale will continue after 7/24/19

    It took them 3 weeks to ship my last order at the end of June. Sad, they were one of the better distributors to work with.

    I wondered about them. Usually, when i contact them to buy something, they are out of what I need, or else there is one at one warehouse and one at another, and they want me to pay double shipping.

    Ellet filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy last of May or first of June is my understanding closing the doors by August.

    I used to do a lot of business with them. Weekly orders and even had one of their Microfiche machines but that was like 20 years ago. To bad I thought they were a pretty good company
