#7) Lets not forget my 74' Z-28.
#8) My 99' Cobra GT 6 speed manual Mustang.
To continue on, causes me great pain and consternation.

first was a 53 ford sunliner convertible...a 52 chevy 3 window pickup...... and about 6 others i enjoyed but douls not repeat.....my all time favorite to want to own is a 1984 Escalibur Series 4 Phaeton......found one years ago low miles for $27k, probably 3-4 X that now 0 -

forgot to mention the 53 sunliner convertible was the Indy pace car model with continental kit,had both side spotlights, eggshell white with gold interior...239 flathead with 3 sp manual......an older kid from town drove in the station one afternoon when i was 17 and i said that was the sharpest car i had ever seen ..where did you get it... he said he got out of the army in Calif and bought it to get home...i asked what he was gonna do with it and he said SELL IT...i said park it right here by the office and i went one block to the bank and got the money from my account (i had started one at age 14) and gave it to him......$300 cash and it was MINE ??????? and i traded it off 5 years later STOOPID 0 -

Definitely not the coolest ride around, as a matter of fact, one of the ugliest cars ever produced. A 1966 Valiant station wagon, faded red paint, more than a few dents, a sleeper. Had a Chrysler 300C motor and tranny, 392 Hemi 375 horse, which was impressive for the early 70's. It was built as a Gasser, stripped out, manual shift auto tranny, Chev 12 bolt rear end. To look at it you wouldn't guess it would move. I surprised many who thought they had a quick car. My street racer, I even kept it quiet and toned down the race look. The only real tipoff was the cut out rear wheel wells and the tiny front tires. I always laughed when the body flexed on takeoff and the rear hatch popped open. I often kept a couple of cases of empty Coors cans in the back, they would pelt whomever I was running against, I was almost always out front. 0 -

My 1962 Mercury Meteor 3 on the tree (first car memories and learning to drive) (I paid 50 dollars for this car earned doing lawn work)
My 1961 Cadillac Fleetwood (foxy chick magnet) (My late mom's car, bought from my dad for 350 dollars) Still doing lawn work
My 1966 Ford Falcon Station Wagon (sleazy chick magnet) (bought from my older brother for 200 dollars and also a won bet about something I have forgotten about)
My 1970 Ford Maverick 3 on the tree :oops: Had a lot of fun dates in that buggy! (bought almost new in '72 with only 8000 miles on it....paid 900 dollars cash from washing dishes in a restaurant)
My 1958 Chevy Brookwood Station Wagon (my forum handle)
My 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook (a handle I use on other forums)
Last but not least, a 2003 Dodge Durango V8 that had some very nice lines and if I would have packed it away would have someday become one of those collector vehicles$$$$$....IMHO I will not live long enough for that payday.0 -
1979 chevy monza spyder, with 350 v8, turbo 400 tranny, both been replaced, had it over 125mph once before I was old enough to know better. You could pump the gas pedal while idleing along and bark the tires, for some reason I couldn't keep back tires on the car...... 0 -

I'd like to have my '73 455 T/A back that I bought new in 1973 that burned to the ground in 1988.
I'd like to have my '73 454 4 speed Corvette back. I took the stock boat anchor motor it was equipped with and turned it into a respectable engine.
I'd also like to have my old '64 Comet back that looked just like this one that I bought when I was a senior in high school.0 -

When I was nineteen I was stationed at and airbase in the UK0 -
my first car. 76 Camaro Road Warrior Special.
305 3-speed geared for the highway. 50's on the back, Holley 650, velocity stack. shag carpet and spray painted black.
50 to 90 in 4 seconds. top speed still 115 mph. I tried that, didn't want to go faster anyways.
I would go buy (make) another one but parts and gas mileage...
