Mueller sounds senile. It's like "I wrote the report but I didn't read it so I don't know what it says".
He's directly contradicting things he said in the report, he asks for the page and paragraph repeatedly to read what he said in the report, he dodges questions with "I don't want to discuss that" or "I don't recall".

Yep and the one thing everybody missed here was the swearing-in of Muller to testify and what was that? They left out 'So help me G-d". SO next will be to get rid of the Chaplin and opening prays in Congress! Second time I think after today.

Honestly, that doesn't bother me at all. First, there should be separation of church and state as intended (even more than there is now). Second, if they don't believe in God, then swearing it doesn't mean anything. It'd be the same as "so help me Peter Pan".0 -
I used to think we needed to keep "so help me God" in the swearing in oath but the way things are going it might not be to far off in the future when the muslims will be the majority and I sure as hell don't want to hear "so help me Allah". 0 -

Separation of church and state is a myth and that is not how the constitution reads or was intended to read.
Simply put, there is to be no NATIONAL religion. The country was founded on GOD, not lack there of.
When State and federal ban God from school, that is in fact a STATE/FED run moral institute, mandating a "religion" of Atheism, which is exactly what our founders didn't want to happen.0 -
I think due to England having an official state religion (Church of England) they intended for the government to not pick, choose, promote, or endorse any religion. Wording like "in god we trust" was likely more a product of the individual creator or team. Adding 'so help me god' at the end of the oath was likely set in precedence rather than any ruling. I was a 3x / week church-goer as a kid and even graduated from a Christian school. But, we have parted ways. I am NOT an atheist nor one of those that thinks that historical cultural references needs stripped out. But, especially here recently (mostly regarding muslim) all the FB posts about America being founded as a Christian nation and such, I just have to point out that is not correct. Sure, some of the founding fathers absolutely were, but they saw what state mandated religion could do and purposely kept it out.
Religion is a hot-button topic for some. I'll leave it for those polarized on each side to fight it out. I just don't really care that much. Certainly not enough to debate it.0 -

Did anyone notice disruptions from the audience whenever Mueller said anything that tended to speak against the President? Or whenever he said anything supportive of the Democrats' position? Did you see them yelling and waving signs, screaming for the cameras. Having to be hauled out kicking and flailing and cursing. As was done in the Kavanaugh hearings?
