Neither was hired for his resume; crime in New Orleans continues to rise.

"superintendent of compliance for its consent decree"
I tried to look that up, but the information is kinda sketchy.
Can someone tell me in a high school education way what that means?

The US Dept of Justice investigated the BCPD, & found that they frequently violate the civil rights of citizens. So, there will be mandatory classes to teach city officers how to conduct fair & impartial policing, as well as the department's "use of force" policy.

They probably have to teach officers that body cams start to record 30 secs before you press the "ON" button, so no more re-enacting the discovery of drugs.

this krap of letting the perps have more rights than the victims is total BS....City of Singapore is one of the most densely populated in the world and they do NOT tolerate any crap..many crimes there get the death sentence and what we consider minor kid stuff is maybe 100 lashings with bambo cane stuff.....an American kid was over there years ago and acted up like he did in the US and they snagged his juvenile azz up and sentenced him to 100 lashes...parents and the US ambassador raised all sorts of wailing and they finally reduced it to about 20? (but should not have) so stupid still left there bleeding and with a new outlook on his behaviour ....

A great place to get rid of a home. 55 years of DEMOCRAT rule has left this once great city into a feces hole. Four consecutive years of over 300-plus homicides and this year will obviously make five and "oh yeah" Baltimore has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation.

In an April interview with the Sun, Murphy talked about the similarities between the two cities, and the challenges.

The similarities are, get robbed, don't resist and they don't shoot/kill you.

Trust me mjr, laughing we are! Years ago some of the command staff were golfing on a city course and got robbed. After that, whenever these ?great ones? chose to play on a city course, some poor grunt was detailed to follow them in a cart with an 870 hidden in a bag of clubs in his cart.
