How do I transfer all my data from my old iPhone 5 to an iPhone 8?

Maybe I should take it to the Apple store but that's about a hour away.

  Its not hard google the question and you will see several methods using either icloud or itunes.

  lay your new phone on flat/hard surface, lay old phone on top, hit with at least 5lb hammer, 10lb will transfer twice as fast............

  Don't bother as it's gonna be obsolete in less than two years anyway.
  Use it make or take phone calls....the primary purpose.
  All the extra junk on them is sales fluff IMO.
