I did not say that and your twisting it only shows you admit to having no valid argument

So, anyone who does not put their hand over their heart when the anthem is played should lose their passport.
That is like saying anyone who disagrees with you deserves to be punished.
    That is what tyrants believe

I said her lack of respect was no reason for me to want my nation to be defeated.
If a guy at Normandy had said and did what she did would you hope the invasion failed? Sure sounds like it

In a free society people have a right to be classless and anyone acting in a manner that shows their true nature is a good thing. We know who the jerks are when they disrespect the flag.
I can root for the USA and consider her a traitor at the same time. I don't have to wish harm to all the other women and our nation because person is betraying (IMO) her country and flag

The other women/teammates coaches are all complicit in the crime. They are supposed to be representing USA, get it? If not, step aside and let those who do appreciate the PRIVILEGE or representing.

Not even close comparison to Normandy, now YOU are disrespecting WWII Veterans?

I guarantee any GI that pissed on or disrespected the flag in the trenches would have had a severe beat down before his/her court martial.

If they don't like representing the USA they need removal from the team or the whole team needs gone.

Personally, I think a great many of the players in sports are just attention whores and shouldn't get a moments more time than a possible interview about the game(s) itself. If I was an editor, I'd record it and show only answers to questions asked, not commentary.

I tend to not be too vocal about a lot of things like this. I just talk with my dollar. I haven't watched the NFL either since Kapersky or WTF his name is became their media darling. It's a free country. They can say what they want. I can choose not to listen to it. I will say however that freedom of speech does not, nor should not extend to a persons job. This is these people's job. My wife isn't catholic, but works at a Catholic hospital. If she was spouting anti-Catholic drivel how long would she stay employed? I think some of these shenanigans stem from us Americans desire to win at all costs instead of what should be done.
