Based upon Barzilla's comments on reverse osmosis water I got Gatorade and will keep it on hand when I decide to do outside work in oven temps. I pulled into the garage (open on one end) and it was still 92 degrees at 7:00 PM. I got the battery out of the tractor so I can get a new one tomorrow but that was enough of that sauna like atmosphere outside.

    I like -20 better than +80.

When I was on active duty Army asked a friend why he went to Ranger School in the winter.

He explained there were 2 reasons: Ranger school is mostly land navigation and bare trees make it easier and (the BIG reason) is that you can't cool off by walking but you can warm up that way.

    Makes sense!

I worked outside 365 days a year for 25 years and I finally realized it was over. That was nearly 5 years ago. I wonder how the hell I ever did it. The last 2 days here the heat index was 110. The winters were actually easier then the summers. Much easier to keep warm then keep cool. Hell just walking to the car the last couple of days made me gag, yet alone work in it.

Ms. WT and I have been discussing the future, we originally planned to stay here till the end. But the maintenance on the property is getting harder, schlepping wood into the furnace, cutting the grass, yadda, yadda... I want a small place with a small lawn with a short driveway in a place with 70 degree average... I?m too old for this siht.
