2.79 here in WV. And that?s the lower price because I own the tank...

Next week the price may go down a bit. Goes down every July / August then bounces back up.

Dave, it sounds like your dad must be Hank Hill from that cartoon I used to enjoy!
My pig tank is a rental from one of the local propane dealers. Last year I was locked in at 1.79 a gallon. Totally dependent on the stuff for home heating, as no natural gas lines run through the sticks where I live.

My supplier has hit me for a dime increase every year since I moved here and I sometimes worry about the price going up to what it was back in the late 90's. Close to 3 bucks a gallon!!

I really should put together another heat source but getting too old to start splitting wood or hauling those heavy bags of pellets!

Conversely, I have a large wood stove, several Oil filled radiator heaters, a Ceramic heater, a Kerosene heater (for when all else fails,) etc.

I need to get my Propane heater units up and running. I have not used them in the 7 years I have been here. (No Tank.) I need to get a 100-200 gallon unit installed. (Just have a small wall mounted bedroom model now.) I need to get a larger living room model installed. I am sure it would be much better than my current set up.
