To have the audacity to think that we are the only intelligent life form out there, stretches credulity.

I can certainly agree that we are very unlikely to be the only life in the universe, perhaps not even the only intelligent life, though given the way evolution works, intelligence is only one of many routes to survival, and more of those work than intelligence. It is not like we are the apex of a plan to produce the perfect species, it is a crap shoot wherein whatever succeeds survives.

One thing that does irritate me (not something you have done) is the way the conversation goes from UFO to alien. That is a giant unfounded leap even if it were true. It all comes down to proof, hard evidence, and that we ain't got. The speculation is interesting however.

    I agree here as well.

The jump from UFO to Alien is quite a leap!

Coming from the man that doesn't think Earthlings are capable of landing on the moon.

Never said we were incapable of landing on the Moon.

(Only) That the footage we were shown was not authentic. (Still waiting for an explanation of the multiple light sources, and shadows going in several different directions at once.)

It was staged (IMHO) to give a black eye to the Russians. "We were first." That was all that mattered.

I am more open minded than you may think.

You are of course, free to believe what you want, as am I,

You do not think that our Government would lie to us do you? :? :o No, of course not.

Faking a moon landing you might possibly get away with once but why would you fake 5 more moon landings? They sent 6 missions to the moon with 12 men walking on it. You think the government could keep that kind of secrete that they faked it? They can't keep the simplest thing secrete let alone something that employed 300,000 people in order to get to the moon the first time. You probably believe the Earth is flat and that the early explorers lied about sailing around it. :D

Alice pack = particular style of backpack. There is a video on the referenced link below about an individuals opinion of ALICE vrs. Molle packs. ie: sometimes used as "bug out bags".

I have to think there is life somewhere in this incredibly huge universe. Maybe not life as we know it, but life nonetheless. There might have been some intelligent life searching for answers. The found us here on earth. They didn't find answers, but were amused and bewildered. Now, we are a running reality series show on their planet(s).

While I am not among those that think we faked it, I also wouldn't actually be surprised by it either. I could see us failing to be ready before it was thought the Russians were going to be. So, they conceivably could have faked it to save face. Then, continued on with the research and eventually went for real.

Did I EVER say we faked all of them? (No,) I am pretty sure I did not. [Actually, I am positive I did not.]

I personally believe we were on the Moon. (At some point. Perhaps not the one stated.) Do I personally believe that the Original footage was authentic? (No, I do not.)

You apparently take great leaps, on behalf of my beliefs. Apparently you know more about what I am thinking, than I do? (A great leap of faith there.) [Not.] :? :o

I am pretty sure the Earth is round Smitty. Footage taken from space pretty much shows/proves that.

Continue on though. You are doing such a good job, thus far.

I believe everyone has a right to their own opinions.

But to say that Neil Armstrong was just an actor and not a true American Hero is IMO where the gravel hits the pavement.
