morning walk......

usually walk about mile or better a day, a week or two back was going by local bank and decided to stop and see if they had $2 dollar bills, long story short ended up with a dozen of them, I use them to pay off bets when golfing, the other guys hate them ;) . just a couple days ago was watching the grandaughter and decided to wash the truck, I figure she would like to hoze the truck off, no she wanted to wash tires, then would quit come back 5 minutes later, was a bumper, fender, ect. well when her dad came to get her I told her to wait just minute and grabbed 3 of the $2 bill and gave her for helping me wash the truck. she looked at them kinda funny like, then looked at her dad kinda funny and then at me, she didn't think they were real. we both told her they were but I am not sure she was conviced when she left. I try to carry a few all the time when possible, leave them for tips in restraunts and such, you do get some strange looks, and I doubt a lot of the new millenials know they are real either........

    I also use them for tips, to keep them circulating. I get them at the bank 50 at a time. Give them a day or two and they can get all you want.

    Years back there was a bar in SW MA that gave $2 bills for change, the place was The Lantern. real dive at times.

    I took 400lbs of boxes to the recycling center and they paid me either 8 or $10 in two dollar bills.

    I guess its kind of their signature, they pay out in 2 dollar bills.

    My Dad told me after the Korean War when he go back to the states they paid him in $2 bills to get them into circulation.
