computer ?
took my desk top to the shop Thursday and picked it up Friday right before closing time. I was told the memory was bad. I was told it had 4 something BUT they only had 3 of something, so I said go ahead and install it
I just got to placing all the connections on the back of the computer today.
it lights up and shows all my icons. BUT when I click on an icon to open, say GB, the screen shows "problem with website security certificate.
if I click on yahoo shortcut , the screen shows problem connecting securely to website
then I can click on 1 or 2 other links and they open as they should
am I missing something or should I take the computer back Monday and tell them it is not working?

has nothing to do with your hardware. tell the computer guys about the security certificate message. you need to change a browser setting or update your computer's security certificates.
if you want to try to fix it yourself, try this:
at the shop your computer's clock might have got reset. this link shows how to fix that and/or updates security certificates for a website.

You might want to check the belt tension and fuel filter on that thing while you got the hood up.
