and the poor farmers around here still haven't gotten their first cutting of hay in. can't get 3 days without rain for it to dry. this is the latest I can remember in a long time, its usually memorial day weekend for the first cutting. I can say though I have gotten 5 tomatoes allready, usually don't get a ripe one till 4th july weekend or so.......

just got back from a little running around, the humidity is unbearable, it feels like 100 degrees or better and it is only 73. ground is so wet when the sun comes out it just bakes the water out of the ground/grass, shade doesn't help much was going to mow, but that can wait till this evening when it hopefully cools down..

Been really rainy and windy in the midatlantic region.

The boats and jet skis have been laid up waiting for decent weather.

Cold front blew through last night. It's 44? right now. Won't last, though. Rain is over in Utah, too. Won't see another drop until October except for the occasional T-storm - and not many of those.

Here in central OK, we have only had a few 90 degree days this year but I heard them saying over 100 in a few places today. I didn't catch the whole weather report on the radio so that may be heat index because of all the rain and flooding here, we have extremely high humidity. Just walking from inside AC to outside will instantly fog over your glasses.

So far this year we have had record-breaking rainfall at over 31". The yearly average for this area of Ohio is a little over 23". The few farmers that have been able to get in the fields and plant anything are just now seeing their corn and soybeans break through the mud.

So far this year I have only been able to mow the whole 6 acres 1 time in 1 day due to the muddy conditions. And the forecast is for more rain almost every other day.

The other day it rained at the rate of 7.25" per hour according to our weather station. The area has also had an inordinate amount of tornadoes too. :(

I came through the East gate of Yellowstone last night and had to go to 4WD coming across Sylan pass, only 1" or so of snow, but it was slick enough that pulling an empty 26' horse trailer, my dually was spinning out coming out of the corners on the east side of the pass.
I see in local news this morning that they did close Beartooth pass to the north.
    Guess this year is Juneuary.
It snow on me the entire way across the Park from East gate to West gate.
But hey, this is Wyoming where I have seen appreciable amounts of snow every month of the year.

They are saying up to 10" of snow tonight a little higher up. Wonder what we will get?

Fresh local grown produce is just getting into the market around here, and the weather is pretty good although a bit on the cool side at night. Was talking with one of my lifelong friends down in East Texas yesterday and it's been in the mid-90s for awhile...typical temp for summer weather.
