Pretty nice, Ricci! I don't know if it's true or not, but I seem to remember reading once that the 1200's were one of the few repeating shotguns that would reliably feed the Aguila mini-shells. 0 -
I got the same gun in 20gauge. It was sold as the Ted Williams model by Sears many years ago.
They ARE the slickest pumps out there.
When they first came out , Winchester advertised them as the fastest pump gun made.
It uses recoil to start opening the action like an auto loading. :shock:0 -
I had a Ted Williams Model 200 (Win 1200) back in the early '70s that couldn't hold up to my handloads for duck hunting. A screw on the bottom of the bolt would shear off, dropping the firing pin in the water, ending my hunt on several occasions. Finally had a gunsmith replace the #8 screw with a #10 and traded the gun for my Rem. 870, that I still have today.babun wrote:I got the same gun in 20gauge.
