    Hell of a post, Rem.
I had some inconsiderate funny stuff ready to post in my warped head before I read everything.
My heart goes out you, and I'm glad you have these wonderful memories.
I've been married for 34 years and could not begin to understand what you have been through.
    Best wishes,
    Ed
P.S. No burden from here, Pal.

I have no words with which to console you. The fact that you can put that in words after all these years says a lot.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

Thank you guys. I don't usually open up like that... including with people that I see on a day-to-day basis, let alone on the internet. I usually keep my private self extremely private

Again I'm sorry for burdening you with my woes, but I just had to get that off my chest

Thank you buddy, but it really wasn't meant to be a tribute. More like a woe is me for losing such a fantastic woman post. But after reading what I wrote, it does kind of come off like a tribute. Had it been a tribute to her what I wrote would have just scratched the surface. She was the type of woman that no matter who you talked to they can find no wrong in her. She was just that type of woman

Wonderful post that made me more aware of my own wife of 54 years. It was refreshing to read rather than the self centered, blowhard posts that are becoming the norm on here. It made me feel your pain and my heart goes out to you.
