Glad you had yourself a good doctor from the VA hillbille! I've had 2 nurse practitioner's for the last 20 years or so. The first one was a real angel. She went way above and beyond to keep me up to snuff on my health issues. When she left, the next gal was OK but when you are used to the very best, it is hard to accept another.

The VA around here does seem to have a lot of turn-around and that makes it hard for an old timer like me that doesn't like changes in status quo.

I recently applied to the VA to change clinics to a closer town to my home. I now have a real MD doctor but have only seen him once for my annual check up. He seemed fairly thorough as well as fixed me up with a few med modifications that have improved conditions.

I hope your next care provider will keep you feeling well and healthy for years to come!

It would hurt to lose a doctor like that. Good luck with your next one too.

You can't blame good doctors, PA's, nurses, & techs for leaving the VA. Every year, their boss (President Trump) asks Congress to freeze their salary.

Similar thing happend to me. Good news is sometimes a fresh set of eyes.

Leads to better diagnosis and cures. Good luck with your new doc.
