?Last Man Struggling?
There was a thread in the past mentioning the show. But I watched ?Last Man Standing? last night and started thinking about it again.
It?s almost painful to watch now. In earlier seasons the 3 daughters were, to put it kindly, lousy actors. But at least they were likable.
They lost Eve and replaced her with Jen (I think that?s her name). Jen?s delivery of lines is terrible.
They replaced the middle daughter with (now this is hard to believe) a worse actor. She tries too hard to be ditzy. Painful to watch.
The only remaining daughter has ?blossomed? so much that even Ms WT comments how obscenely huge she?s gotten.
Even the male actors appear to have taken a step down.
In seasons past the jokes were semi funny. Now, when I hear the canned laughter I think to myself, ?oh, that was supposed to be funny.?
Am I the only one who finds the new ?Last Man Standing? lacking?

I think it sucks just like most of the TV program's today suck. It is all "sitcoms" or "reality" TV.
I would rather watch re-runs of Sanford and Son or All In the Family.
I guess I am just showing my age

It seems to me, and I've only seen a couple of the new shows, the writers are much more PC....
Next season, will all the characters will be snowflakes?0 -
Eldest daughter "the big one" I never liked. Don't remember the first one.
Middle daughter I liked the brown haired one. Nice to look at but not much else.
Youngest daughter I like because I liked her in "Justified". It's too bad we don't get to see her much.
Don't like Chuck's "new" wife. She was annoying on "Martin". I don't really remember his first so that's okay.
Don't see much of the Canadian son in law so that's nice.
The jokes in obama days were funny but Trump era not so much.0 -

I agree about the PC part. I have tried watching a few episodes but found the new "Mandy" and "Eve" characters as lame.0 -

Yeah pretty much everyone else got swapped out. I'm kind a waiting for the show to make her come out of the closet being that she's in the air force academy.0
