It?s never fair when a protected species gets hurt, regardless of whether justified or not. 0 -
the family allways claims that the criminals were angels after they get killed, I think they are just looking for a free check so they can buy new car/house in their little angles memory........... 0 -
Running from cops always makes it worse and doing so in a stolen vehicle is worse yet, but stealing trucks is not a capital offence, nor is running from cops. 0 -
I think that if I was a cop I would start doing an Andy. Not carrying a gun. I'm not made to be in prison and the concept of having my life ruined economically just don't cut it.
Or maybe do a Barney. Carry the unloaded gun in my holster but carry only one round in my pocket.
Yeah, I'd do the Barney!! That ought to keep me out of trouble!!

My question: who the Hell charged him with murder and why ?.......the family couldn't. 0 -
From reading a few news articles it sounds like the driver of the truck swerved and tried to hit the Cop, if so he was justified in shooting the driver.
As usual the family is all PO'ed and requesting "answers". The Chief should tell them here are the Answers you requested:
1. Your son was a dirtbag car thief and drug dealer.
2. If you steal a vehicle and try to run over a Cop you get shot.
Questions???

Two security camera videos show a Farmers Branch police officer firing shots into a suspected stolen truck in Dallas on Wednesday night before the driver later died from his gunshot wounds.
In the videos, obtained by the Star-Telegram?s media partner WFAA-TV, an officer can be seen hopping out of his car in a parking lot, quickly grabbing his handgun and firing into the driver?s side of a white truck that swerves past him into a row of cars. The suspect was transported to Parkland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, and the officer was taken to a hospital to be treated for a minor injury, according to Farmers Branch police.
Dallas police said its officers are investigating the incident since it occurred in Dallas. Farmers Branch police are also conducting an internal investigation.
The officer who fired the shots remained in a hospital Thursday night, Dallas police said, and will be interviewed when he?s released.. Police didn?t say how the officer was injured. The truck doesn?t appear to hit him in the video.
On Wednesday evening, Farmers Branch officers were following up on a report of a pickup truck stolen from Irving, Dallas police said. The vehicle was backed up into a parking space in a shopping center on Emerald Street in Dallas, and there were three people inside, police said.
The officers walked up to the truck, police said, but the driver began to pull out. An officer fired his weapon and hit the driver, police said.0 -
That all depends on if the officer was in fear of his life. Doesn't really say if the suspect it was trying to hit the officer or not. If not, the officer did not have a right to fire and is in the wrong. If the suspect was trying to run over the officer, then the officer had every right to shoot. Of course with the fake news anymore you really never know the truth. But the officer was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries, so I'm guessing that the suspect was trying to run him over... we'll just have to wait for the rest of the story to know what really transpired 0 -
That is a horse of a different color Sam. 0 -
I would rather wait and find out the truth. DEMOCRAT controlled and agenda driven media is no friend of law enforcement. They openly lie to us.
Lets not forget about Obama's son and "Hands up, Don't Shoot"0
