EhlerDave Needs Prayers
His daughter Erica posted this for him over on the MC forum:
Hey guys dad asked me to type this out, he is not able to type yet due to the torn up elbow (left) and 3 busted bones in his hand. (right)
Due to the infection he has been fighting he can not have the surgery to repair either of them. The elbow will be as he calls it a major overhaul, bone ligaments and tendons. The hand sounds simple but the Dr I took him to told him it will hurt the most, they must grind off a very large piece of bone where they broke then grew back funny. He would not go get it looked at, like mom told him many times.
Dad went to the Dr due to pain in his side, now for him to ask to go it must hurt a lot. Dr took a look at his side and it is still that infection from his gallbladder surgery it has been a long time now. On Monday, they cut out an even bigger part of his side, I cant even look at it now. He is home and resting but is just worn down to almost nothing. Because of this battle trying to stop the infection from eating him alive dad is down about 100 pounds. He is annoyed he no longer has anything that fits him.
He has mom type for him at times but she cant see much, gramma took her to the eye Dr and she is getting new glasses, but needs cataract surgery, the right eye is very bad. So when mom cant type and I am not here dad just does things he can use the mouse to do, mostly plays some silly puzzle games.
Sorry this has not been done sooner but when we remember it is when it is time for me to go home.
