Not just Ford. sulfur out of fuel ruined the lubrication. Clean diesel kills any pump.

This is why I will never own another diesel pickup, the operating costs have gone up and with having to add fuel additives it costs even more per mile to drive them. This PACCAR engine I have goes through 10 gallons every 2000 miles of DEF and I must add fuel treatment every fillup. Once a month I have to add $100 worth of treatment called Deep Clean because of all this emmissions BS that destroys engines.

The exact reason I sold Big Red. I didn't want to but the maintenance costs were coming. My 6.2 gas 4x4 F250 will tow what I need to tow.

will never own another diesel, maintenance cost far, far outweigh and advantage they may have, whatever that is.

One of the reasons I went gas with my recent 3/4 ton purchase.

Why I'll never sell the 7.3
Qt of synthetic 2-stroke oil every 3-4 months in the fuel tank has worked for almost 20 yrs [Mechanic suggested]
300+ k Original injectors. Probably just jinxed myself
