    why didn't he throw in their face, they can find funding for illegals healthcare, find money for their own payraises yet they let these brave folks fend for themselves, he should have put each one on the spot on national tv, I applaud him for his effort but I think he could have done/said a little more to put them on the spot.......

    Yes,....this 'only Dims are the problem' attitude is simply refusing to see the entirety of the issue. I personally can't stand liberal ideology, but I am wide eyed enough to recognize the reality of the situation in our government today.

    We are standing in deep crap no matter which way we turn,.....fact whether one wants to see it or not.

    Big thanks and respect to Jon Stewart.
    There's a MAN who said "NEVER FORGET" and he didn't like so many false POS politicraps with their fake flag pin on.
    We buried many after 9-11 and we been burying them every year since.
    I'm lucky- no health issues but many friends are not so lucky.

    In all actuality,Jon Stewart is a putz. What he said was spot on but where was he and his pedestal 17 years ago when the lies and corruption was exposed? Those who pay attention know who and what Stewart represents and has connections to. Great character saving cover performance though.

    Another program filled with corruption. The program is intended for First Responders effected by their work at ground zero, yet funds are now being given to virtually anyone that claims they were effected by the fall out of the buildings. but Repubicans caved to the public pressure, so now the program will be extended for 70 years....70 years...what First Responder that was effected medically by 9/11 will be alive 50 more years, let alone 70? these folks are dying from cancer now. More fraud in my mind, and folks like Nadler will benefit because they will be able to tell their constituents that they got them more money.

    Many ACTUAL pile workers have been sick many years. They deserve all the help they can get.
    Scumbag law firms been trolling anyone in lower Manhattan on or after 9-11 to get in on the payouts.
