This caught my eye
I looked at 3 different articles about this guy. All say he shipped WEAPONS or GUNS to Russia from the US. But what he did was ship Magazines(Or Clips) for guns to Russia which is illegal but a far cry from "Weapons".
The poor dumba$$ got scammed and is paying the price in jail.

An Alabama man who posted his resume online was tricked into sending weapons to Russia after falling for a ?work from home? scam.
Douglas Glover, 37, of Birmingham has now been jailed for 16 months after he unwittingly tried to send items including 50 high-capacity AK-47 magazines.
He reported to federal prison on May 14 after he agreed to plead guilty to a count of attempted unlawful exportation of firearms in exchange for other federal charges being dropped.
The Daily Beast broke the story on Glover?s arrest on Thursday.

I would think that no one would need to ship AK mags to Russia? Aren?t a buttload made there anyhow? Or in the other block countries? Why ship from the US? 0 -

I thought the same thing. It is odd.
I just looked at gun laws in Russia and they have a mag capacity law at 10 rounds max. Maybe that explains it.
