Pork Coma!
Busy day. We got a lot done outside. Mowing, weed whacking. flowers planted, downed pine tree cut up, and a few other things outside accomplished. Came in, grabbed a beverage and found out Kelly's Heroes was on. Naturally I had to watch it as it is one the all time greats. We kinda forgot about dinner, but no problem. Had Spam in the pantry and had bacon in the fridge.
Cut 1 can Spam into 24 cubes
cut 12 strips bacon in half
Fry bacon about 1/2 way
wrap Spam cubes with bacon
Bake at 400 about 10 min
Combine 1/4 cup mustard with Tbl maple syrup & 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Drizzle sauce on meat - put back in oven
cook until bacon is crispy 5 - 10 minutes more
Served with mac & cheese and small salad.
Probably fall asleep in recliner afterwards.
