The topic of Free Speech come up often here. Free Speech is guaranteed by the Constitution in public forums. Gunbroker is not a public forum. It is privately owned and we are guests without rights except perhaps fair treatment. Tread accordingly. The moderators have a responsibility to act by the rules for which they are so richly rewarded. They put up with the rest of us as a hobby.

Many fail to recognize the original intent of the 1st amendment was to protect you from prosecution/persecution by government for speaking out against government. It had/has no authority in the private lives of citizens beyond that original intent. 0 -

I have long been inclined to view the notion that one can legislate or force acceptable modes of thought as fascism. Fits perfectly with Democratic Socialism of the German Third Reich. BS works too.

The advertising dollar. The free content provided by the members more than offsets the cost of the site or the site would be unplugged. Just that simple.

I recommend they each be given a lawman's badge in the shape of a star in a circle embossed "High Sheriff" across the top of the circle, and "GunBroker" across the bottom of it. And, in the middle, the number of awards earned...one for each year they have served as company men!!!!
