Many years ago, when my family buried my older brother {age37, VN vet}, my father,
{age 75, WW2 vet}, pushed aside his 2 crutches, and forced his broken down back and legs, to stand at attention for the military flag part of the burial service.
He stood up straight as a 18yo recruit. He then snapped his twisted, disabled right arm up, and held his painfully straight fingers to his right eyebrow.

He's gone now too. Standing a post in Heaven with his first born son.

Thank God, he's not around to see some POS's kneeling before his flag.
