Happy African Day!
Today is the day in 1963 when the African Union was formed.
Some of the things we got out of this wonderful organization; Modern day South Africa and Zimbabwe, the Rwandan genocide, The destruction of Liberia and Serra Leon, Anarchy in Somalia and South Sudan..........great Union that has probably caused more death than the Spanish Flu and polio combined.
So to celebrate this year cook some African food, maybe some Mandazi with goat and fufu and a side of Sukuma Wiki.
