that was the scariest movie I ever saw!!!

till I got older and didn't scare so much. I couldn't imagine a movie that would scare me that much as an adult. that would be something.

The scene in Jaws where the dead guy drops facefirst to the big hole in the bottom of the small boat had a lot of people in the theater jumping to their feet. Remember that ? Drefuss was in scuba gear checking out the boat.

One of the few cases where the sequel was actually better than the original.

Like Wrath Of Khan "Aliens" was better.

Broke out the 20th anniversary 3 movie collection and started to watch the saga last night. The first one was okay (way better than "Star Trek The Motion Picture") with the creature from the Black Lagoon-esque rubber suit. The "jump scare" where the alien comes at you with Jazz Hands hilarious. In "Aliens" the flanges (which looked more like spider crab legs) much scarier. Fell asleep and woke to hear Scott talking about "Blade Runner" (director commentary) how in the future corporations run and own everything with private armies (in "Alien). Can you imagine facebook with private armies? They kind a need them to protect their collective asses from users who are pissed.

Also to me Sigourney looks better as she got older.

was watching it for the second time, with two females cousins, the one sitting beside me ask me if this was the scary part, I said no, and just as she turned back to the screen the head came into view through the hole, I wonder to this day if the tinnitis I have isn't from her screaming...............
