Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend
Completed my project today just in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
For years, I have flown the American Flag proudly on a pole attached to the side of the house, near the front door. The flag was displayed 24/7/365 in all weather conditions and illuminated at night.
Monday I purchased a new flag pole for the front yard.
Tuesday AM I installed the base flag holder in the ground and poured in the concrete.
Wednesday was time given for the concrete to set-up.
This afternoon I took down the flag on the pole attached to the side of the house and installed the new flag pole into the cemented in base in the ground and attached a new flag.
The light was adjusted so the flag will be illuminated at night. The LED spotlight has a dusk to dawn eye so functions automatically.
The flag will fly 24/7/365, illuminated from dusk to dawn....just in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
She is a BEAUTIFUL FLAG and looking awesome flying high in the front yard!

Nice job. We frequently see them in tatters, not illuminated, and likely the people still think they are patriots having forgotten their flag. 0 -
