What an idiot!
That cop was very patient with the guy he pulled over. Guy turned a simple seat belt ticket into getting shot.

The cops had no right to shoot him, because he was of African descent

I will bet odds the city will be paying to the black lottery fund real soon . just because the guy was a a ass hat , 0 -
I cannot understand the mindset of people like that.
IMO he deserved to be shot, I have not seen anyone ask for it more.
One thing I don't understand though is why they didn't use a Less Than Lethal tool to get him out of the car when he refused to get out?
I have a question for the cops here; why don't police carry batons anymore? Is it because of Rodney King getting his PCP'ed up ass beat?0 -
Well, it sounds like you guys like big brother telling you what to wear and eat and do.
In AZ it is a secondary offense, meaning they cannot violate the 4th for not wearing a seat belt, but can issue a ticket if they pull you over for speeding or other actual driving offense.
When they come knocking down your door to take your guns, just remember this fine upstanding man who was willing to take the beat down and shooting for your rights.
Where this jerk went wrong was attacking the cop, but then the other one missed her shot and now the jerks high paid lawyer is going to sue the crap out of them.0 -

Have you ever seen the destruction and Mayhem that a car can do after it has been hit and the driver has been knocked out of his seat and can no longer control the vehicle as it keeps on rolling on?
I had a cousin that was killed by an idiot that wasn't wearing a seat belt in just the above-described description. Had the guy that killed my cousin been wearing a seatbelt, he could have controlled the vehicle and my cousin would still be alive.
These laws are not meant to protect the person that doesn't want to wear a seat belt, they're there to protect the innocent bystanders from idiots that won't wear one.
But carry on with your bashing of the laws that protect innocent bystanders...0 -
Don't mess with Lawrence, KS cops. It's college town so they deal with lots of loud mouth drunk college kids and homeless people. 0 -

Sorry to hear about your cousin.
It wasn't the not wearing of a seatbelt that killed your cousin.
And FYI I wear my helmet to protect my head not yours.0 -

Sure I'm happy to know you know more about how my cousin was killed than I do, or even the police officers that investigated the accident. Maybe you should represent this idiot that killed my cousin because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt in his appeal for involuntary manslaughter because he wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown over into the passenger seat and no longer was in control of his car
You know everything and if anybody doesn't believe that they just need to ask you
And as far as your helmet goes, it's also to protect your loved ones from grieving because you died because you weren't wearing one. You seem to just think about yourself nobody and else
