    Sorry to hear that Brother.

I have lost several Army Buddies, younger than me, over the last few years. All good friends. It never gets easier. I miss them all.

The plans that were lost with close freinds is hard to face. Like other unfinished things that leave you empty. The loss of a close freind or loved one takes much time to deal with. Best to talk it out and share some of the good rememberances with others.

    Sorry for your loss.

I'm sure that your friend was very thankful to have a true friend to be with him right up until the man up stairs called him home. It takes a very strong and honorable person to be there during that time, especially during the final moments of one's time here on earth. IMO, that makes you a very strong and respectable man. Also, FWIW, I have a brand new Kershaw DWO in my safe if you ever want it...

thanx...respectfully ...i have a number of old knives in the safe with a solingen buffalo skinner as a favorite and have more items than i could pass onto now.....be better use to pass it to someone with a kid he could pass it onto with a story....i used that knife to clean out trial plots for the annual field day when the K state crew came to help inform our yearly findings and have a feed...i set that knife on the fender of my 1952 chev pickup and drove off depositing it in the dirt...found it almost a year later, blade a little tarnished but i polished it up and gun blued it and have kept better shape of it these 50 years since...thanx...James
