    Haven't checked prices in 20 years but seems to me a Barrett 50 cal was MORE that $5,000, twenty years ago.

    Too bad I can't legally own something like this in S.A.. Probably the police can't either and the military would need to save up. :shock:

    There are a few cheap ones listed right now, a few with the $10K price tag.....but there are quite a few with $7,000 on them.

    It's been a while since I've looked at Barretts since they used to be so overpriced (in my opinion). Looks like a bunch of 82A1's listed at around $6500 not getting any bites. Those would've been a heck of a deal a couple of years ago, so while yours did go cheap, looks like overall demand for these has come down considerably.
