Roundup ?
My backyard is fenced in and i want to put roundup on the inside and outside of the pen but i am worried about my dogs eating grass.
They eat grass once in a while so i am worried about it making them sick or worse.
From what i read on the internet its ok but i would rather be sure than hurt my buddy.

my dogs have eaten grass that i have sprayed with roundup, its never seemed to bother them. im not talking a lot just a bite or two, i think its the salt in it. 0 -

I suppose there are chemicals devised by man that can kill plants and not harm animals, but none come to mind. 0 -
I had a "Commercial Applicators License." We used "Ranger Pro," a commercial grade of Roundup/Glyphosat.
I was always very careful in its application/mixing/Skin Contact, etc.
My Boss, (the Owner) could not figure out why I used so many pairs of latex/Nitril gloves in a day.
"F" him. (They would be using leather gloves soaked with the solution.) Hope that works out for them.
I am very careful with the stuff. Having said that, I would NOT spray it, where my dogs had access to the area. Just me.

i second the use of vinegar/epsom salts/detergent . it works quickly, cheaply, and does not have health problems for people or pets. 0 -
I use cheap dish detergent as a surfactant. The soapy taste should deter any animal from eating it.

The evidence that roundup causes cancer is weak. So weak it is almost nonexistent. In the 2 Billion dollar trial the defense was not allowed to give any evidence. In particular they couldn't tell the jury that the EPA findings don't agree with the junk science about its cancer causing properties. This reminds me of Dow being sued into bankruptcy over "cancer causing" breast implants. After the trials suddenly the studies came to light that the breast implants did not cause cancer. It took Dow 9 years to come out of bankruptcy. I bet if Monsanto [Bayer] declared bankruptcy then suddenly Roundup would be harmless. But the lawyers won't let that happen until the money runs out. Follow the money. Bob
P.S. Dow was headquartered I Michigan and I was a lot younger and for some reason had an interest in Boob enhancement.

I have to admit that I've always thought that all of the chemicals we have been using to grow our food is causing a lot of problems. The problem that there is no way that I am aware of to definately prove that a particualr chemical is causing cancer in a specific person. 0 -
More likely to see foot or body irritations from contact. 0
