I have had it with amazon
Don't know why I pay the stupid prime membership. Every time I order an amazon prime item the shipping is 5 to 10 days. Amazon sucks. I am not renewing. And it is impossible to complain- at least me dumb jazz can't find a place to complain.
I can order from Walmart and it is at my door in 2 days with no membership fee. I hate going into a walmart store though.
Before someone tells me to buy local I live in a rural area and the internet is our local shopping.

Well allrighty then. Walmart sucks, and I won't even give them a dime. If you read the the Prime fine print, you will see that not everywhere has two day shipping. If you live out in the sticks(which we do, sort of)expecting two day shipping is a stretch IMO. 0 -
I never understood the Prime membership in regards to shopping. If I need something I check their site. If their price is the best I order and usually get free shipping that gets it here in 3 - 5 days. I guess if I had Prime it would get here faster. If I need something today I run to the store and get it today. I guess they are trying to have same day delivery in parts of the country. If that happens in my neck of the woods I'll probably still go to the store to get it if I need it that fast. No worries that way about right size, color, etc... Also won't have to worry about whatever it is arriving broken or missing parts. In all my Amazon orders I have only had a couple of problems. To give Amazon credit they fixed the problems no questions asked but it still takes extra time to get a second shipment delivered. Bob 0 -
We have used amazon many times,and thus far have had good luck. We find more and more the locals stores do not have the item we are looking for. That takes us to amazon. We have not,however,joined the prime membership and do not plan to. 0 -
wife has A prime and has worked good for her and i sometimes buy off her account...yep we are in the sticks.....UPS and FEDEX ..only one real booboo by ups and remember that ebarf owns paypal and if there is a problem they always side with the seller ...after that i cancelled my paypal account 0 -

As with evertyhing, your mileage will vary. We live in the semi-sticks. We buy a boatload of stuff off prime. Most items are two day. The items that have to ship from overseas and those by non prime sellers obviously don?t show up next / two day.
The free shipping with prime more than makes up for the $200 yearly fee.0 -
And - prime video allows us to watch TV series without those damned commercials. Another benefit... 0 -
I've been an Amazon shopper for years with good service. I "accidently" opted in for Prime a while back (thought I was just clicking to learn more about it). I'm not sure I'll use it enough to justify the cost but the service has been excellent. 0 -
I buy most everything on Amazon Prime. Most everything gets delivered in about 3 days but if it takes a week big friggen deal. I can't think of anything I'm going to need that just has to be here in 2 days. :roll: 0 -

Switch your shipping to Fedex SmartPost. It'll make you think Amazon ships everything out on an SR-71 in comparison.0 -
Half the time I get stuff in 2 days, usually 3 and sometimes 4. 0 -
Never had an issue with Amazon ... regular or Prime.
Shipping is always quick and good products, usually.
A few times I've had to return an item and with "no questions asked and usually free return shipping" it's a great shopping experience.
Sad thing is Amazon is getting REALLY BIG and is putting many local stores out of business all across the nation.
I guess that is the price of technology and progress.0 -

I like the option of having all the things out there. Not a big fan of any. However, ebay, walmart, amazon, etc. all have there advantages. Costco is great also for thier extended warentee on electronic gear.
The internet has really opened up things from the old physical run around of shopping for things that really took windshield time.0
